Hi Sean thank you for coming to planDisney with your question. Duffy is a favorite with little ones. Let's try and figure this one out.
Duffy the Disney Bear is our best pal Mickey Mouse's personal teddy bear. Minnie Mouse made this bear for her sweetheart Mickey, and he shared him with children all over the world. Pluto and his canine friends do get overly excited from time to time and sometimes it is a shoe, sometimes it is a child's favorite stuffed animal. My initial thought was to visit Doc McStuffins at
Hollywood & Vine inside of
Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can visit her at the Disney Junior Play n' Dine Breakfast, Doc and other Disney Junior stars may be able to lift your spirits but unfortunately there is no repair station for what remains of your son's poor Duffy. I have checked to see if there are any locations carrying your son and Mickey's favorite teddy bear, he currently is not available for purchase on
shopDisney.com in the fluffy version. Only a charm from the
Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers. Hopefully one day Duffy will make his return to the parks.
In Jersey, we are very resourceful people and I will assume you are as well. I do have some suggestions to put him back together again. You can always reach out to local clothing or shoe repair. Sometimes a seamstress or my personal go-to option is my family's older generation. They usually have made repairs in the past to your own version of Duffy from when you were still a Mousketeer. Try searching the web for possible replacement Duffy parts you can salvage from a "previously loved Duffy." If you are looking for something new, I can recommend the newest plushies that my kids love. The "Munchlings" are plush toys inspired by your favorite character and mashed up with your favorite snacks. They are available on shopDisney so head on over if you are looking to see if that can replace your distressed Duffy.
I hope this information was helpful, I hope even more that your son gets his best friend back in healthy huggable shape. If you have any other questions be sure to come back to
planDisney.com and we will be happy to lend a helping hand.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
