Welcome back to planDisney, Carys!
The
AquaDuck on the
Disney Dream is considered a "water coaster". Guests will go up, down, around, and off the ship's side through the Forward Funnel while in a 2-person raft. While I do not consider it really fast (I love roller coasters!), someone else may think it is too fast. The drops are a little faster, but you level out as you wave to other Guests below you. Once you are on board, I suggest you stand below it on Deck 11 to observe before deciding to ride the AquaDuck. You can also ask Guests who are just getting off of it!
If you are traveling with children, there are some restrictions:
- Guests must be 42" or taller to ride. Single riders must be 54" or taller.
- Guests must be 7 years or older to ride alone; kids under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older, provided the child is at least 42" tall.
- No snorkel equipment or swim masks are permitted.
- Loose items such as sunglasses, mobile phones, and cameras are not permitted.
The hours of operation will be listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. I think it is even more thrilling at night!
Carys, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney. We are happy to help!
Adventure is out there (including on the AquaDuck),
