Hi, I hope you can clarify this for me. I was told that the fridge supplied for medicinal purposes is the size of a shoe box. That will be too small of a conatiner for me. Would I be able to request a normal mini fridge without having to pay the fee?

    Hi, Christie!

Refrigerators in the rooms at Disney Resorts are what I  call "dorm size" refrigerators.   We easily fit several water bottles, cans of soda, snacks, etc.   They are not full size refrigerators like you have at home (unless you are staying in a villa with a full kitchen) but it is certainly bigger than a shoe box.

Refrigerators are already in all moderate and deluxe rooms.  Refrigerators in value resorts are provided free of charge if needed for medical purposes.  Let a cast member know and also have it noted on your resort reservation if you are booked at a value resort.

    Hope this helps!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
