I hope to book two cabins jan/11 at Fort Wilderness. If we rent carts for our four night stay, do w keep them the whole time or do we have to pick them up every day?

    Joan:

When you rent an electric cart at Fort Wilderness, it's yours for the length of the rental, in your case, four days. And that's why many folks staying in the cabins opt for the cart: it takes you to and from the Outpost bus stop and the pier in the mornings and is there waiting on you in the evenings, so no waiting on the internal bus.

HINT: Because you will have it for the length of your stay, make sure and back up your cart to the end of your cabin each night and plug the recharge cord into the exterior outlet on the cabin.  Then unplug it in the morning and you're good to go!  The re-charge cord can be found under the back seat of the cart.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
