I hope to be able to celebrate my daughter's and my birthday in late December (30th) in the Magic Kingdom. When we were there in July we noticed that some people had special pins and hats for birthdays. Is this something you purchase only at the park?

    Hi Nathania ~

There is nowhere more exciting to celebrate a birthday than Disney World and I am thrilled for you and your daughter!

Disney offers several types of celebration buttons including "Happy Birthday" buttons. You can pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for you and your daughter at your Disney Resort Hotel. If you are planning to stay off-property, you can visit any theme park Guest Relations location to pick one up. The Magic Kingdom has a cart with them just outside Guest Relations.

If you are staying at a Disney World Resort Hotel, be sure to tell them you are celebrating birthdays when you make your reservations. If you make any Advanced Dining Reservations for your trip, let them know as well. You never know what pixie dust will come your way.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
