How do you get to the hoop-de-doo review in WDW? Can fireworks be seen from there? I have reservations for thurs Sept 30 at 9:30 pm . Thanks in advance.

    Virginia:

Ah! The Hoop Dee Doo Revue! One of my favorite--and funniest--shows at Disney!

The dinner show is located in Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness.  You can take a bus from any theme park or Downtown Disney to the fort and then take a bus from its Outpost Bus Stop to Pioneer Hall (we're talking a 5-minute ride). OR you can take a ferry boat from the Magic Kingdom, Wilderness Lodge or the Contemporary resort over to its pier. From the pier, Pioneer Hall is just a short walk.

You can see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the fort's pier, and the accompanying music is piped in, also. Although you can't see the lower-level pyrotechnics because of the trees on the island in the middle of Bay Lake, it's still a good show.  If the times of the fireworks for this year's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party are like last year's, the fireworks, though, will be at 9:30 on the night you're visiting--the start of your dinner.  But double-check me when you get your resort.

If this is the case, you can always arrive early at the fort and head to the middle of the resort for Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Singalong at 8:00 p.m., it's over at 8:20 and will give you ample time to walk to Pioneer Hall for dinner.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
