Hoop Dee Do or Whispering Canyon? Not sure about the amount of time it will take at HDD. Already have MMR (Fantasmic Dinner pgk), Liberty Tree (Spectro Parade),San Angel Inn, and Chef Mickey's. Also have CP breakfast and Norway princess breakfast.

    Kathy:

If money were no issue, I'd go with Hoop dee Doo Revue because it's a memory maker--especially if you get Category 1 seating, which I recommend.  The show is for anyone 3 to 103 and if you time your dinner right, you can either get out in time to catch Chip 'n' Dale's sing-a-long (after the 5 p.m. show) or the Magic Kingdom's fireworks (after the 7:15 p.m. show) on the grounds of Fort Wilderness.

If budget IS a concern, you can still get corny jokes served up at Whispering Canyon Cafe, but it depends on your interaction with your server.  The food at the two locations, in my opinion, is equal in quality and genre with fried chicken, ribs--the usual down-home fare.  So if you're looking for home-style cooking either fits the bill.

Because you mentioned time, you'd have to take a boat to either Wilderness Lodge for Whispering Canyon or to Fort Wilderness for Hoop dee Doo from the Magic Kingdom.  Hoop dee Doo is an event in itself and I wouldn't feel compelled to leave it to go to a park--it's the cherry on top of a trip.  But if you're trying to squeeze in one last ride or attraction, Whispering Canyon could help you fit it all in.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
