How do I get to the Hoop Dee Do review from Animal Kingdom, or from Caribbean Beach Resort? We have a 7:15 reservation, will be at Animal Kingdom that day (closes at 5:00), would we have time to get back to our resort before the show?

    Hi Kathy!

Most guests find Disney's Animal Kingdom to be less than a full day park.  I disagree and can easily spend a couple of days there, but I understand why guests think that.  Thus if you arrive at the Animal Kingdom when it first opens (actually I recommend arriving to any park about 30 minutes before the official opening) then you will most likely be ready to leave before 5pm.  If that's the case, then you will have plenty of time to return to your hotel.

The most fun way to get to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review at Fort Wilderness is to take Disney Transportation to the Magic Kingdom; don't worry you won't actually be entering that park and thus you won't need a ticket.  Once at the Magic Kingdom bus station, you can walk a couple of minutes to the boat launch and catch a boat to Fort Wilderness.  It's a beautiful and relaxing boat ride as long as it is not too hot or too cold when you go!  At Fort Wilderness, the boat dock is only about a 5 minute walk to Pioneer Hall, home of the review!  It's about a 15 to 20 minute boat ride, and boats come about every 20 minutes.

That said, the fastest way from the Caribbean Beach Resort is a taxi to Fort Wilderness.  From the Animal Kingdom theme park, you could just catch a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then go by boat as described above.

To be on the safe side, I would plan on the journey taking about 90 minutes using Disney Transportation; that obviously includes time waiting for a bus or boat to arrive!  Thus it could take much less time if you are lucky!

    Have a magical vacation!
