Is the Hoop Dee Doo revue a good show for DD (8,6,3)? Will they get much out of the show or is mostly adult humour? Also what is the food like? Trying to decide between it and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Thanks again!!

    Hi, Jennifer!

The Hoop-Dee-Do Revue is a fantastic show, full of lots of jokes, singing, and slapstick humor. While certainly many of the jokes will make your little ones giggle, I think that your intuition is correct in that Mickey's Backyard BBQ might be better for younger children.

Hoop features a loose narrative and lots of jokes that skew a bit older. There are some flirty moments as well. Bu the most noticeable difference between and the Backyard BBQ is the presence of Mickey and his friends. There are no Disney friends in Hoop, while the Backyard BBQ features many of the classic characters. The jokes tend to appeal to a younger crowd, and the singing and dancing are for everyone!

The food at either dinner show is very good. I would think they were equal in quality and taste. In either case, you'll not lack for portions!

Have a great time at whichever show you choose -- and remember to give a "hey howdy hey!"

    See you later, celebrator!
