? about Hoop Dee Doo. We are on the DDP and I know that means Cat 2 or 3 seating. If given the choice what would you choose? Seen pics online and it looks like the balcony might be a better view w/ the crowd on the floor, but don't want to miss any fun.

Hi Renee.   Ah, the Hoop Dee Doo Review.   This is by far my favorite dining show at Disney.   We have been to this twice, sitting in both Category 1 (floor level) and 3 (balcony).

I can confidently say that you will have fun no matter where you sit.   The entertainers make a point of moving around the entire show area, including the balcony area.   Plus we found the viewing from our balcony seats to be just fine.   Our floor seating was quite close to the stage, so I can't say whether those further back on the floor level had an concerns.   However, I don't recall hearing any complaints afterwards.   The only other difference I can note is that towards the end of the show, the actors will grab a few folks from the crowd to participate on stage.   The selection is somewhat random, however, I do recall the choices coming from the floor level (including my husband).

So with this said, I do suggest you make every attempt to go if you can.   No matter where you are located, I am sure you will have a great time.
