"Hook, Arrh, Pirate, Ship" these are my 20-month old's newest words. We have DL vacation planned next week! (Really wishing Cars was his new love!) Any tips on where we can see Hook or other pirate-themed things? (We are familiar with Disney Ju

Ahoy Amy!  As Mom to a little swashbuckler myself, I highly understand the importance of words like "Hook, Arrh, and Pirate Ship."  There are several high-seas themed attractions for your little scalawag to enjoy at Disneyland, so fear not, I don't see you walking the plank anytime soon!

Let's start with California Adventure.  Here, your little matey can meet with Disney Junior phenom Jake, the Neverland Pirate along Hollywood Boulevard, near Disney Junior! Live On Stage!  And speaking of such, be sure to add this show to your "must see" list for sure.  If your little one is a fan of Disney Junior programming, this live stage show is sure to be a hit because it features beloved Disney Junior characters as intricate puppets in a live a colorful show set to a hip and exciting soundtrack!

Next, we'll head over to Disneyland. Be sure to board a Pirate ship on the classic attraction Pirates of the Caribbean.  Your little pirate captain will take the helm as you travel through the bayou and into the high seas. You'll encounter lots of scurvy scoundrels on this adventure, including the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow!  This attraction is located in New Orleans square, so be sure to keep an eye out in this area for the pirate band who travel around serenading guests.  Also be sure to take a voyage on the magnificent Sailing Ship Columbia...A REAL Pirate ship that travels the Rivers of America daily!  Your little buccaneer will really enjoy commandeering this ship!

To catch a glimpse of Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, be sure to catch a showing of Fantasmic. They make a comical appearance during this popular evening show and you can also spot them in the must-see Mickey's Soundsational Parade!
