    Honorary Moms and Moms, Why doesn't Art of Animation participate in military room discounts? I have a solo trip coming up in late June and would love to stay in a Little Mermaid room at this resort so I can use the pool. --{--@

    Hi Rochelle - it has not been communicated to us why certain resorts are eligible for any discount - including military discounts.  However, I did check an unofficial site I like to visit regarding military discounts - militarydisneytips.com and according to that website, the AoA resort was included with the discount last year.  Perhaps this resort is sold out for this particular discount for your travel dates.  You may want to contact Disney at (407) 939-7830 to get more information about military discounts at AoA.

    Additionally, you can keep an eye on special offers for future discounts that may appear for your travel dates.  Good luck and I hope your vacation is magical.
