Hi Brandie,
Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to start your happily ever after! Do keep an eye on the
Walt Disney World honeymoon page as you plan. There is currently an add-on package there called Enchanted Evening. This package includes special MagicBands and luggage tags, as well as a special evening plan. This package is listed as available through 2017, so I suggest that you keep an eye on it to see if it is extended or if a similar package is released for 2018.
As for romantic and adult things to do for your honeymoon, consider a
specialty cruise. You can book a boat just for you and your loved one! I have taken fireworks cruises of both Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and they are lovely, calm experiences. Being on the water at night taking in the magic of Disney fireworks is fabulous.
For some more adult-oriented experiences, take a look at the
Walt Disney World park tours. Many of these have a minimum age to participate. I find these to be small groups of guests who are truly interested in specific parts of Walt Disney World. The cast members are knowledgeable, and I have always enjoyed my time on these.
Finally, try to plan some
fine or signature dining while you are on your honeymoon. For a true splurge, consider
Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This AAA five-diamond winning restaurant is truly an amazing experience.
Please write back if we can help you further in planning your honeymoon, Brandie!
