Home from 1st trip to WDW 1/6. Planning a return trip 11/23-30 w/ husbands parents, sister, husband, dtr 4 son 2. We have a dtr 4 & 1 turning 3 while we are there. Both couples celebrating 10 yr anny. Thoughts on special activities, dining, resort, bud

Hi Jennifer! Sounds like a big fun group celebrating special events!

I suggest you consider a fireworks cruise for that something special for the anniversaries. The pontoon boats will hold ten guests which I believe you will have if I have counted correct. You can choose either an Illuminations or a Wishes cruise and can add cake etc if you desire. You order that from the resort private dining and it will be delivered to the boat prior to your departure.

Some special dining that the group might enjoy would include the Biergarten in Germany/Epcot for dinner and Teppan Edo in Japan/Epcot. Both are shows in some respect and you will likely all be able to sit together which would be fun. You can also consider the great dinner show, Hoop Dee Doo for something different.

Resort wise it might be best to consider at least two rooms versus trying to get everyone together. I have found that families who travel together but also have some space will enjoy the trip much more. You can get connecting rooms so doors can be open when wanted. For a Value resort I would suggest the Art of Animation with the Family suites if possible. If you wish a regular room I enjoy Pop Century. For a moderate choice I choose Port Orleans.

As you are planning be sure and let us know how we can help with other ideas. This is a broad answer to your many questions but we can certainly narrow things down even more if you ask one question at a time. Enjoy the planning process and your new countdown for a Disney vacation!
