I just got home from a stay at the Grand Floridian, which was absolutely amazing!! We stayed in the Boca Chica building and I must know, what mattress and pillows they have in the rooms!! I had the best night of sleep ever there! Five star hotel!!

Hiya, Brittany! Welcome back to planDisney!

I’m so glad you had an amazing and restful stay at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I find that I always sleep well when I visit Walt Disney World. I think it might have something to do with waking up for early entry and staying up late the see the fireworks. Oh, and walking 10 miles each day. And maybe trying to keep up with 3 kids. But the comfortable beds and linens definitely help!

I have it on good authority (other planDisney panelists) that the Grand Floridian uses Simmons Beautyrest Hospitality Collection mattresses across the resort. The pillows are Sobel Westex Sahara Nights, the blankets are Sobel Westex Sobellux (#71273), and the linens are Sobel Westex Bella Casa. You can find many of these items online, as well as a whole Disney Resorts Home Collection from Sobel Westex. You’ll be sleeping like a Disney princess before you know it!

Now, when it comes to waking up, Grand Floridian rooms come with iHome alarm clocks and Keurig coffee makers. Just in case you really want to recreate that Grand Floridian experience at home.

I hope this information helps you bring a little bit of that Disney magic back to New Jersey with you. If you have any other resort questions or need recommendations as you plan your next Disney adventure, don’t hesitate to come right back to planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
