Animals in the Savannah at Disney's Animal Kingdom resort

    My home resort is Kidani, I want to book Jambo 11 months out. I try but it tells me it's not my home resort and I can not book yet. I have researched it and everywhere I go says the AKL is one resort and I should be able to book Jambo 11 months out.

    As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney.  Thanks so much for dropping by with a question today.  I think Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is one of the coolest Disney Vacation Club Resorts in all of Walt Disney World. Along with the incredible theming details and animals right outside your window, you can also pop down to the lobby to enjoy the Sanaa Indian-style Bread Service whenever the mood hits you –– talk about a dream come true!  I bet you love calling this Resort "Home" as part of your Disney Vacation Club Membership!

    In addition to the magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kidani Village, how cool is it that another fabulous Resort –– Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House –– is right next door?  Although it has a similar feel to Kidani Village, Jambo House definitely has an energy all its own, so I think you're going to love staying there during your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. That said, I'm sorry that you're having trouble booking a Jambo House reservation at the 11-month mark.  I reached out to a Member Services Cast Member and I was able to confirm that if Kidani Village is your Home Resort, you should also be able to book a Jambo House reservation during the Home Resort Priority Period.  If you're still having booking issues with the website (after all, technology can be less-than-magical sometimes), I recommend giving Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 –– not only should they be able to help you with your tech troubles, but they can also book a reservation for your upcoming visit over the phone.
