Hi there. Our home park is Disneyland, but we are heading to WDW for a quick vacation. Is it possible to have our existing Magic Bands+ assigned to both parks or do we need to deactivate them from the Disneyland app first?

Hi there, Elizabeth-and welcome to planDisney!

Although I'm often told the West Coast is the best coast by my planDisney pal and Disneyland Resort specialist Melissa H., I myself am partial to The Most Magical Place on Earth--aka Walt Disney World Resort. So I'm extra-excited you'll be heading east this weekend for your vacation!

Isn't MagicBand+ amazing? I recently acquired my first one for a voyage on Disney Cruise Line, and I had so much fun exploring the fun features of this next-generation Disney tech. I also found it easy to charge it at night so I was ready for action bright and early the following morning!

Great news, Elizabeth! With your MagicBand+, you'll easily be able to link your Walt Disney World reservation. I spoke with Guest Services to get the lowdown on how to make the magical connection.  From My Disney Experience, navigate to the MagicBands and More tile. Next, select "Link Your MagicBand or Card". You can scan your band, or type in the 12-digit number on the back of the band. Once it's linked to the correct Guest, it is ready to be used.

I know your vacation is just around the riverbend, Elizabeth, and I hope it's a great one! Safe travels to Walt Disney World and please stop by planDisney again if we can assist with any other questions.

    See Ya Real Soon!
