Hi Nicole,
We are delighted to see you stopping by planDisney with a great question! First, let me say thank you for being a nurse! Discounts for the Walt Disney World® Resort are listed as
Special Offers. Know that Special Offers can change throughout the year, so keep your eye on the site. My husband and I became Annual Passholders a few years ago so when we are not using our Disney Vacation Club membership, we look for
Annual Passholder specials for
Disney Resorts Collection hotels.
To make the most of your visit, I do suggest that you spend a few nights in a resort hotel. Doing so will give you time to fully immerse yourself in the magic! It also gives you time to enjoy the parks from park opening to park closing without having to worry about driving home in the evening. When we are looking for super cute and more budget-friendly resort hotels, we check out Disney's Pop Century Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. They both have access to the
Disney Skyliner in addition to Walt Disney World® Bus Service.
Of course, keep checking the price of a Disney resort hotel stay. Prices could change at any time. Since we prefer to be at a resort hotel that is within walking distance of a theme park, we typically stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and Disney's BoardWalk Inn. All of these resort hotels have lovely amenities.
Nicole, I hope this helps to answer your question! Please stop by back if you have additional
questions!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
