Hi there, Angie! Welcome to planDisney.
I'm so glad to hear you had a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I just returned yesterday, and I'm drinking my morning coffee out of my Haunted Mansion mug and wishing I was back in The Most Magical Place on Earth. We had an amazing time too, and we can't wait to be back!
The
phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort is really progressing, and I thought things felt
almost back to normal in the theme parks, especially with the
return of nighttime spectaculars at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park. We're still not yet able to meet characters and get their autographs, and I bet that was a disappointment to your princesses, especially if they had fancy personalized autograph books for their visit.
I know Mickey is doing his best to provide safe and fun opportunities to engage with the characters. I hope you had a chance to see Disney friends in places like the Main Street, U.S.A. train station, the gardens at EPCOT, and the rivers at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I found these unexpected character greetings so charming!
I don't think it's possible to mail your autograph books in to be signed, but I recommend speaking with a Cast Member on the My Past Walt Disney World Visit line. You may
call them at (407) 939-6104.
Since I don't know the ages of your Princesses, I have two ideas. One is that your girls can save the books for their next visit; I keep a plastic bin with our Disney treasures, filled with gadgets and gizmos aplenty like our ponchos, Minnie Ears, and autograph books. My kiddos love to unpack this bin as we begin to count down to our vacation! Another thought is that you might be able to find images of character autographs online and create a special display of photos and autographs for them to commemorate their visit.
Thank you for coming to us with your question, Angie. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you find a great solution. Enjoy your magical memories, and we will see ya real soon!
Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
Robyn
