With Hollywood & Vine no longer being a buffet, would my 2 year old twins still eat free? We would be planning to do the Disney Junior character breakfast.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Megan. I'm so excited to hear you're planning a visit the Walt Disney World Resort! And with little ones in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories.

It's super smart of you to plan a Disney vacation when your twins are 2-years old. They're the perfect age for lots of reasons! Watching the little faces of your toddlers as they're immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling will just melt your heart. They'll love each and every family-friendly attraction in the theme parks! As an added bonus, children under the age of 3 are considered special Guests of Mickey Mouse and therefore don't need Theme Park Tickets or Theme Park Reservations. How great is that?

Children under the age of 3 may also eat for free at Walt Disney World restaurants that feature buffets. When my kids were under the age of 3, I always tried to book as many reservations as I could for these types of dining experiences! Disney buffets feature lots of kid-favorites like chicken nuggets and fresh fruit, so I knew I could count on there being something to please their little palates. Too, they rarely ate enough to justify the cost of an entrée, so dining somewhere they could eat for free made lots of good sense! Though the Disney Junior Play n' Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine is no longer a buffet, I'm pleased to tell you that your twins may still eat for free. Your table will first be served a pastry basket featuring caramel monkey bread, croissants, mini muffins, jams, and honey butter. If your family empties this basket, it will quickly be replenished! Your twins may then share from the plates of the others in your party at no additional charge. For example, if you order the all-you-care-to-enjoy house-made pancakes for yourself, your twins may share that entrée with you, and you will not be charged for them to eat. And you may order as many helpings of the house-made pancakes as you'd like! Sounds like a recipe for lots of full bellies!

A double stroller will be a must-have for your Disney vacation. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and those little legs tire quickly! Double strollers can be rented from all four theme parks and Disney Springs. You are also welcome to bring your own stroller as long as it is no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. My City Mini Double Stroller is my favorite stroller for pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks!

I hope this was helpful, Megan. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
