    We will be at Hollywood Studios on Sunday Jan 8th, 2012 and know that Fantasmic is closing right around then. Will they be having a show on Sunday Jan 8th and do you know what time? Thanks!!

    You're on the ball and doing your Walt Disney World trip-planning research I see!

    Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios is running up to and including January 8th, 2012, after which it is scheduled to be closing for maintenance until February 12th, 2012.

    There are 2 shows currently scheduled for the final Sunday evening, January 8th, and they are sure to be popular on that day due to the upcoming, short closure. Show times are 6:30pm & 8:00pm. It is definitely recommended that you arrive 60-90 minutes ahead of show time to secure seating for your party. Although you can reserve a section on the bench for your group while they go and enjoy a few last attractions before the show, they should plan to join you in the amphitheatre off of Sunset Boulevard and be seated at least 15 minutes prior to show time.
