At Hollywood Studios can we stop in at 50's Prime Time for ice cream in the afternoon without a reservation? How can we be guaranteed a seat at a "kitchen table" being only a party of 2 adults with or without a reservation?

    Hi Barbara!

Yes, you can stop in at the 50's Prime Time Cafe for ice cream in the afternoon without an Advanced Dining Reservation, but I would definitely recommend making an Advanced Dining Reservation even if you are only having ice cream because 50's Prime Time Cafe is typically very busy.  If you have an Advanced Dining Reservation, then you will be seated at a table within the restaurant.  If the restaurant is fully booked or they are not permitting walk up reservations for that day, then another option would be to eat at the Tune-In Lounge which is the bar in the waiting area of 50's Prime Time Cafe because they serve all the 50's Prime Time Cafe food at the bar and all you have to do is ask for a menu.  You will not see the normal antics of the the 50's Prime Time Cafe at the bar and it can be quite noisy, but it is a great way to eat without a reservation.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with magic and memories!
