Hello Rosemary! I’m so glad that you brought that question to planDisney! It can certainly be confusing for Guests when they see that they have booked an experience inside a park for a time that is prior to official park opening time! My son and I had this same experience this past summer when we booked a droid building experience at Droid Depot!
The Force is with you! Even though your reservation for
Savi’s Workshop is prior to the official park opening time, you are still permitted to enter the park early due to your reservation! When you arrive at the park, you will approach the turnstiles. You can let a Cast Member know that you have a reservation for Savi’s Workshop. The Cast Member will direct you to where you should enter the park with your reservation.
Rosemary, be sure to have your park ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios! You will need both to enter the park for your reservation at Savi’s Workshop! Also, don't forget, if you happen to be a Guest staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection, you are entitled to the
Early Theme Park Entry benefit! This perk allows Disney Resort Hotel Guests to enter the parks 30 minutes prior to park opening! Either way, don't worry, you're reservation will get you into the park to make your lightsaber! May the Force be with you!
