At Hollywood Studios - would your recommend Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular or Fantasmic? Or are you able to see both? Thank you!

    Hello Connie,

It sounds as if you are looking for some awesome nighttime entertainment for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Ending your magical day with some wonderful sights and sounds is the perfect plan! So, I am thrilled that you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to get our input.

For me, personally, I would prefer to see Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. The stellar technology of the projection show along with the iconic music of John Williams topped off with unforgettable fireworks make this a truly unique perspective of the legendary Star Wars movies. My favorite spot to see it is from Animation Courtyard in front of the Great Movie Ride. Keep in mind, though, this area is the best view so plan accordingly in finding a spot early (maybe 45 min to an hour prior to showtime).

Depending on the nightly schedule, you could potentially see both. However, the probability of getting decent seats for both on the same night would be pushing it. Personally, my family has never been a fan of Fantasmic! My kids are easily frightened by the dragon breathing fire and some of the villain scenes. However, this is our personal opinion, as it is also a great show.

Lastly, please keep in mind that entertainment schedules do vary and can change without notice. So, be sure to check a times guide upon entering the park or the My Disney Experience mobile app

Have a fantastic trip making memories of a lifetime!
