    Hi! Does Hollywood Studios have any play areas or water features where a 5yr old can run around?

    Hi Valerie, and welcome back to planDisney!

    This is a great question, and I do miss the days when my babies were younger and had access to the (now closed) Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure.

    While there is no formal play area at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I find the open area in the Grand Avenue near the entrance of Muppet*Vision 3D (in front of the Miss Piggy Fountain) an excellent place to let the little ones explore and even take a break as the restrooms are in that area as well. In addition, as an alternative, if you would like to take a break from the “outside,” I recommend the Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy, and more. Creating those magical memories for your children will be embedded in your heart for years to come.
