Hollywood studios to mickeys Backyard bbq at the fort wilderness resort transportation options and times? Please help I want to write out all the details for our whole group.

Hi Diane! I agree that it is best to have all your plans in place when traveling with a group to Walt Disney World. Trying to get everyone in order to be at the right place at the right time can be stressful unless you have it all figured out ahead of time.

To reach Fort Wilderness from Hollywood Studios it is best to hop on the Fort Wilderness bus. This will drop you off at the bus area at the front of the Fort Wilderness Resort. Then hop on The orange internal bus to get to the other end where Mickey's Backyard BBQ is held. There will be signs as well as cast members who can direct you to the entrance to the barbecue.

Once the barbecue is over you can hop on the boat at the marina and head to the Magic Kingdom. The marina is just steps away from your dining area and it is about a 12 minute boat ride to the park. You are dropped off absolutely in front of the entrance and then can walk the short distance to the resort bus area. If you are in a monorail resort you can hop on the monorail to get home.

It really will be quite easy and fun to be able to even include a short boat ride on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon for the group!
