We will be at Hollywood Studios May 10, 2015. We have the Star Wars character meal booked for lunch so I assumed it was Star Wars weekend. But in trying to find times for the Symphony of Stars Fireworks that night, there isn't one showing?

May the Force be with you, Elizabeth!

Our vacation to Walt Disney World Resort included Mothers' Day weekend last year and as we enjoyed a late lunch at the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine, we got to see preparations begin for that evening's Jedi Mickey's STAR WARS Dine at Hollywood & Vine. Because you said you will be enjoying lunch, I am assuming that your family will get to meet some of your favorite characters including Darth Vader and Boba Fett at a late seating of the STAR WARS Dine-In Galactic Breakfast at Sci-Fi! since Hollywood & Vine will have Disney Junior Characters during their lunch seating.

In my experience, the STAR WARS Character Dining begins prior to the start of Star Wars Weekends. This year, Star Wars Weekends will be running May 15 - June 14. So unfortunately, many of the festivities will not yet be running on May 10. Hopefully you will be able to stop back by Disney's Hollywood Studios during Star Wars Weekend to go shopping at Darth's Mall and enjoy the Symphony in the Stars Fireworks. And you can always enjoy the Star Wars attractions that are available at the park year-round such as Star Tours - The Adventure Continues and Jedi Training Academy for your little Padawans.

Don't forget to bring something to trade with the Jawas! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
