Hiya Maryanne! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Park hopping is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World. Being able to switch parks allows you the flexibility to experience more in one day. For Guests that are driving to the parks, it can become tricky to know exactly where to park your car to make it easy on yourself at the end of the day. Let's dive into some options that you will have.
Since you're ending your day at the
Magic Kingdom, your best bet will be to park your car close to here. Parking for the Magic Kingdom is located at the Ticket and Transportation Center. There is no direct route from here to Disney's Hollywood Studios, so we'll need to get creative in your approach. Once you park your car, you can take the resort monorail to any of the Disney Resorts Hotels that are on this loop. These will include Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You'll need to locate the bus stop at any of these resorts and hop on the bus to Hollywood Studios.
Another option is to walk from the Ticket and Transportation Center to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They are located virtually right next to each other, so once you park your car you can take a quick 10-minute walk to the bus stop at the Polynesian. You can also take the monorail or ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom and take a bus from there to Hollywood Studios. Buses start running 45 minutes prior to park opening.
Once you are ready to switch parks for the day, there will be a bus that will take you from Hollywood Studios to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. You'll be able to enjoy the rest of your park day and hopefully stay long enough to watch
Disney Enchantment. When you are ready to leave, you'll need to take either the monorail or ferry boat back to the Ticket and Transportation Center to return to your car.
Maryanne, it sounds like you going to have a busy park day coming up! I hope you have a magical visit!
See ya real soon!
