If Hollywood Studios doesn't open until 9am can I still make an appointment at Savi's workshop at 825am?

    Hi Jon! Welcome to planDisney!

Next week you will be exploring the planet Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and I bet you are counting down the days! The attention to detail is incredible, so make sure you plan plenty of time to explore and enjoy the immersive experience. It's truly out of this world!

When I look at availability for Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort, it does show reservation times as early as 8:25 AM and 8:45 AM next week. I would definitely choose one of those times if possible! In the past, my family has always tried to make reservations, especially dining reservations, at times that allow us to enter the theme parks early. While there is not really early morning dining availability at the moment, an early morning reservation to build your own lightsaber is a great find!

I visited Disney's Hollywood Studios twice in the last few months and my experience was that they allow Guests to enter the theme park earlier than opening hours to promote personal distancing. However, with an early reservation, I would look for signs directing Guests with reservations. If you don't see any signage, ask a Cast Member if there is a particular entrance or direction to go to enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge early. Make sure to have your MagicBand or ticket handy just in case a Cast Member needs to verify your reservation before letting you in.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Jon! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
