Hi Vicky!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your transportation question. I'm happy to help!
Walt Disney World Resort provides several
complimentary transportation options for Guests, which makes it super easy to get around on your Disney vacation. We don't always have a car with us on property, so I'm quite familiar with using the bus, water, and monorail transportation!
If you want to head to
Disney Springs for lunch, after a morning at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, here's the easiest way to make that happen:
- Take a bus to a Resort hotel (Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs are all nearby)
- From the resort, catch a bus to Disney Springs
Another option would be to walk over to Disney's Boardwalk Inn from Hollywood Studios (about a 10-15 minute walk around Crescent Lake), head through the lobby, and take a bus to Disney Springs from there (this option involves more walking, and may take a bit longer).
I've also used Uber transportation on some of my most recent visits, and it's typically about $8-12 to get from Hollywood Studios to Disney Springs. The Uber pickup area is across from Guest Parking, in the taxi lot.
Make sure to allow at least an hour to an hour and a half to arrive at your destination. I hope this information is helpful in your planning, and that you have a picture-perfect morning at Hollywood Studios and an awesome lunch at Disney Springs! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
