Is Hollywood Studios going to be busier than the last few weeks on January 20th because of the holiday?

Hi there, Julie, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you're here with this great question about your upcoming vacation! You'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of days, and you must be getting so excited! Have you packed your suitcases yet?

Julie, I'll be totally candid with you - holiday weekends can be popular times for Guests to visit the Disney Theme Parks. Other factors that often affect the crowds are school holidays, weather, special events, and festivals. Since January 20 is the end of a holiday weekend, you might find that the crowds are starting to thin out as Guests head back home.

As someone who's visited the parks on very crowded days and seemingly empty days, I can confidently tell you that there is plenty to do regardless of the crowd level. If you're anticipating heavier crowds, here are a few tips you can keep in mind.

I recommend going ahead and booking an Advance Dining Reservation for at least one meal. This will give you a dedicated time and place to enjoy a delicious meal and recharge to finish your day strong. If you prefer quick-service dining, be sure to place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order ahead of time to help save you time when you're ready to eat.

Arrive at the park early to take advantage of lighter morning crowds. Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels can head in 30 minutes early every day for Early Theme Park Entry! If there are specific attractions you know you'd like to experience, consider purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass to ensure your spot.

Take your time in the parks and enjoy your surroundings. Pack your patience, sense of humor, and comfy shoes. Enjoy every moment and don't hesitate to ask a helpful Cast Member if you need assistance during your time in the parks. Look for blue umbrellas that say "Guest Experience" to find Cast Members who are ready to help!

Julie, I hope this is useful to you as you prepare for your visit. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue to count down to your arrival!

    See you real soon!
