Hi, We are holidaying for two weeks, first week in a villa then second week at the beach club resort to celebrate our daughters birthday. Why can we not be issued with our 14 day park tickets before our stay at the beach club resort ? Thanks

    Hello, Paul!

Please wish your princess a very happy birthday from me and all of the Moms Panelists! What a great place to spend her special day. Be sure to tell a Cast Member at check-in that it's your daughter's birthday, so that you can get her all the special treatment you can during your vacation.  A "Happy Birthday" button, for example, will ensure that Cast Members and strangers alike will wish your daughter a happy birthday throughout her vacation; that's sure to make her feel so very special!

We've often split our stays while on vacation in Walt Disney World, and what I've learned is that each resort reservation is an independent reservation, although they can certainly be linked together so that Cast Members can see that you are arriving from another resort. (We've even had two reservations when going from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom at the same resort, and simply moved all of our things into the one-bedroom portion of our villa, shut the adjoining door and continued our stay in the same room. Still two different reservations.)

Your park tickets will be linked to your Key to the World Cards, so that once you check out of the first villa, your tickets, charging privileges and, if applicable, Dining Plan entitlements will expire that day. Your next Key to the World Card will have the additional nights' tickets, etc., attached to them.  This will enable you to only keep your current Key with you as well, which should make your trips into the parks easier, too.

Please send me any additional questions you may have as you think of them! I'd love to help make your family celebration as magical as possible!
