Holidaying in port Orleans french quarter in Feb 25. Looking to go to the International premium outlets. What is the best way to get there please?

    Hi there, Yvonne!

Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you've had such a positive experience with my fellow panelists that you've come back for further assistance. It's always such a treat to help return Guests!

Your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort sounds practically perfect to me because you're staying at one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels: Disney's Port Orleans Resort -  French Quarter! The colors and rooflines combine with the scents and sounds of the lobby to make Guests feel as if they have been transported into the heart of the Crescent City. For a true New Orleans experience, don't miss the live jazz on weekends at Scat Cat's Club - Lounge or the beignets and café au lait available daily at Scat Cat's Club - Café!

You're clearly my kind of Mouseketeer, Yvonne, because not only do we share a love of Disney's Port Orleans Resorts, but shopping as well! If you're hoping to venture beyond the magical sign welcoming you to Walt Disney World Resort to make your purchases but don't have a personal vehicle, you'll need to utilize a third-party rideshare service. Happily, these services can pick you up directly from your Disney Resort hotel.

If you're looking to make shopping a part of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I encourage you to take time to explore Disney Springs. Filled with a mixture of shops selling Disney-inspired items and popular storefronts, there truly is something for everyone! I love that it's a place where I can enjoy a delicious meal (I recommend The BOATHOUSE), pick up some Walt Disney World Resort souvenirs for myself, my dogs, and my home, and also visit some of my favorite non-magical stores such as Anthropologie. I've even had a denim jacket customized (dare I say, pixie-dusted?) at the Levi's store.

I hope this information was helpful, Yvonne, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with magical moments. If you are in need of further assistance as you continue to plan, feel free to stop back by. You've got a friend in me!

    Thinking Happy Thoughts,
    Lizzie

Hi y'all! I'm Lizzie, a happily married teacher, coach, and proud dog mom of three from Georgia. While I loved the magic of Disney as a child, it wasn't until my twenties that pixie dust became a defining characteristic of my personality (and my wardrobe). I can't wait to answer your Walt Disney World Resort vacation questions so that you can embrace your inner 'hakuna matata' as you stroll through The Most Magical Place on Earth with your favorite Mickey-shaped snack in hand.  Learn More About Lizzie
