Our holiday to Walt Disney World is going to coincide with the last matches for our English Premier League football. Is there anywhere I can watch these games?

    Hiya Susan! Welcome to planDisney!

As a big sports fan myself, I completely understand not wanting to miss any of the big games! I recently planned a weeklong trip this past February, which happened to coincide with the Super Bowl. When I realized this, my first reaction was to change the dates of the trip. But then I thought how cool it would be to watch the big game from my favorite place in the world! So I did just that and found some wonderful locations around Walt Disney World to watch sporting events from!

Disney Springs is a great starting point to begin your search. Both Splitsville and City Works Eatery & Pour House have gigantic high-definition TVs set up throughout both the restaurants. You can choose to either sit at the bar or make a reservation for a table in the dining room, but both choices will give you views of a TV. Typically, your server or bartender will not have any problem switching the game you are looking for on the TV that is in your view. Other locations around Disney Springs to check out would be Raglan Road™ Irish Pub and Restaurant and Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. Each of these locations has fantastic bars and offers TVs to watch a game on.

Depending on where you are staying at Walt Disney World, many of the Resorts will feature an onsite lounge or bar that may accommodate your request. Specifically, most Disney Deluxe Resorts will have these options available. If you can make your way over to Disney's Boardwalk, you have three Disney Deluxe Resorts, multiple dining locations, and the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels all within walking distance of each other. There will be plenty of options available to watch the games from here.

Susan, many of the resorts will also feature sitting areas with TVs around the resort. Depending on what station is broadcasting the games and if you can get it on the screen, you might be able to make your own setup to watch the game. I know Disney's Beach Club Resort has an area furnished with couches, chairs, and TVs where Guests can relax in an open atmosphere. Check with the Front Desk upon arrival to see if an area similar to this is offered.

Best of luck finding the best viewing area, Susan! Have a magical time during your stay!
