The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort tour includes parade viewing. If I did the 4:30 one, which viewing would be used 3:30 or 6:30? The tour is 2.5 hours so if it is 6:30 would I loose 30 min of the tour?

Season’s greetings, Jaime, and welcome to planDisney!

It’s almost Halloween, and you know what that means… the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are just around the corner! I’ve been eyeing the Holiday Time at Disneyland Resort Tour myself, and I had this exact same question, since I’m also thinking about the 4:30 PM time slot. I was able to chat with a Disney Special Activities Cast Member to get some helpful information. The Cast Member I spoke with said he doesn’t believe the tour will actually fill the entire 2.5 hour time provided. He believes that timing includes the viewing of the parade, too. So, in reality, the Cast Member believes the actual “tour” portion may be closer to 1.5-2 hours. If you end up doing the 4:30 PM tour, there’s a good chance the tour will end at the reserved viewing spot for A Christmas Fantasy Parade. The Cast Member also mentioned that most likely the early tours will participate in the earlier viewing of the parade, since there are typically two viewings of the parade daily during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort.

I hope this information helps, Jaime! I’m going to be checking the calendar and signing myself up for this tour soon… it sounds like the perfect dose of holiday magic! If you have any additional questions, you can also reach out to the Disney Special Activities team at (714) 300-7710.
