Greetings, Jacob!
Welcome to
planDisney. I’m happy to hear you’re planning a trip to the
Disneyland Resort during the
holiday season! It is a great time to visit because the entertainment schedule is in full swing, and decorations and other seasonal extras have appeared all over the resort. In addition to the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour, you can enjoy the
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" nighttime spectacular and A Christmas Fantasy Parade!
The
Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour is one of my family’s favorite special offerings. Having access to reserved viewing for
A Christmas Fantasy Parade is a wonderful benefit, especially when you have a cup of hot cocoa or coffee in hand! As you mentioned, there are two showings of the parade scheduled per day-- once in the afternoon and once in the evening-- but there are several tour times to choose from. A Cast Member I spoke with indicated that the tour time you reserve as well as how many other Guests are touring that day can impact your assigned parade viewing time. Most often, the tours that occur earlier in the day are likely to participate in the first parade viewing, but this is not an exact science and can vary based on multiple factors.
It’s best to remain flexible with your schedule for that day and inquire about your parade time when you check in for the tour. You should plan on the walking tour portion taking two hours, not including the time you will spend watching the parade, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
I hope this information is helpful, Jacob, and that your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is the also the merriest! Please feel free to visit us with more questions as you continue planning.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
