Are there any holiday themed treats available in the world during the Christmas season not at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? At the bakeries in the parks maybe?

    Hi Leslie,

Holidays are a magical time at Walt Disney World for sights, sounds and tastes of the season. I'm really excited about a new addition to Holidays Around the World at Epcot: seasonal treats in a number of countries in the World Showcase from November 25 to December 30. It looks like a smaller holiday version of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival with special foods in a half dozen marketplaces around the World Showcase as well as holiday treats from around the world in many of the countries. This article from the Disney Parks Blog describes lots of the savory and sweet treats, along with special drinks.

You also should find seasonal treats at most venues in all the theme parks and Disney Springs that normally sell bakery items, including holiday cupcakes, candy apples and cookies.

And don't miss the Gingerbread House in the lobby of the Grand Floridian. A visit there is one of my family's favorite holiday traditions.

Thanks, Leslie, for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can help with any other planning questions as your visit nears. Enjoy your holiday at Walt Disney World!
