It's almost the most wonderful time of the year at the Disneyland Resort! The
Holiday Time celebration is scheduled to return from November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027, so it looks like your arrival will be perfectly timed to catch the last sprinkle of holiday magic!
While the celebration officially wraps up on January 6, the festive décor doesn't usually disappear like snowflakes melting. Much like pixie dust lingering in the air, it can take several days for all the holiday decorations to be removed. The garland hung by the lamp posts with care doesn't vanish overnight, and you may still spot a few merry touches around the resort in the days that follow.
One of my favorite holiday traditions is exploring the seasonal décor at each of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. I keep a digital photo album of all the beautiful displays! It's become a fun source of inspiration for my own holiday decorating, from color palettes to festive finishing touches.
Now, if you're hoping to experience Disneyland without any holiday decorations at all, I'd recommend visiting about a week after January 6. I remember my sister-in-law felt the same way when planning my nephew's first visit. She wanted him to see the parks in their everyday theme before adding the extra holiday sparkle, and that made perfect sense!
