The holidays are my absolute favorite time to visit Walt Disney World and especially
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! There are so many wonderful reasons to stay at or visit this resort, and the year-round decorations are at the top of my list.
You are more than welcome to decorate your campsite at Fort Wilderness and you'll find that many Guests go all out with the holiday lights, decorations and inflatables. Some have even set up a walking path on their campsite to stroll through and enjoy. One of our favorite things to do while staying there is to joy ride around each loop in our golf cart to see what everyone has done. It makes for such a fun night! Make yourself a cup of hot cocoa or purchase one from one of the trading posts and enjoy the sights! Sometimes there are even golf cart decorating contests that you can join in on if you will have a golf cart during your stay. The best one I've seen is one that was dressed from top to bottom like a gingerbread house and they passed out pieces of gingerbread as they drove along. If you're interested in decorating ideas, you can do a quick Google search for "Fort Wilderness Holiday Campsite Decorations" and you'll see a ton of fun ways to decorate. We have bins of Halloween and Christmas decorations that are reserved just for our visits to Fort Wilderness.

golf cart during your stay, you can rent them right at the Resort. Reservations are required, so give them a call as soon as possible to reserve yours today.
