Alison from Nottinghamshire Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’ve a holiday booked from the Uk for 2026. We stay on property from the 9thMay for 7 nights but we are in Florida from the 2nd May Our 14 night Disney ticket doesn’t start till the 9th could this be changed to start on the 2nd May ?Thanks

Hi Alison and welcome back to planDisney.

How exciting that you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World in 2026. You must be super excited to be returning to the "Most Magical Place On Earth!" Let the planning commence!

When booking a Hotel + Ticket package with the Walt Disney Travel Company via the Walt Disney World website, here in the UK, the start date of your 14-Day Magic Tickets automatically defaults to your arrival date. So, for example, if you were to book a 7-night stay, arriving on 9 May 2026, your 14-Day Magic Ticket would be valid on any 14 days from 9 - 26 May 2026.

I completely understand you wanting to bring the start date of your tickets forward to the 2 May 2026, the date that you will actually arrive in Orlando. Doing so will enable you to utilise your tickets during the first week of your trip, before you check-in for your 7-night stay at your Disney Resort hotel.

In this scenario, my best advice, Alison, would be to contact the Disney Experts at the Walt Disney Travel Company to enquire if it is possible to amend the start date of your 14-Day Magic Tickets.

You can contact them 7 days a week by calling freephone on 0800 169 0730 and their opening hours are as follows:-

    Monday - Friday 9am-8pm
    Saturday 9am-7pm
    Sunday 10am-6pm

You can also contact them via email:- disneytraveluk@disneyonline.com.

If you have booked via an alternative Travel Agent, you will need to contact them directly to ask the question. You should be able to find their contact information on your booking confirmation.

I'm sorry that I couldn't give you a definite answer to your question on this occasion, Alison. Please do, however, feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your 2026 trip. You can even ask me a question directly if you would like a UK perspective on anything.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
