Sarah Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We have a holiday booked and it shows ‘DR hotel pkg with quick meal DP’ When I rang up to upgrade to quick service meal plan they told me we already had it on our booking. Can someone clarify if we have the quick service meal plan or quick meal ?

Hi Sarah and welcome back to planDisney - it's great to hear from you again!

Your visit to Walt Disney World is just a couple of weeks away. It won't be long before you're getting your suitcases down from the loft and deciding which Disney-themed outfits and mouse ears to pack. Exciting times!

You've picked a great time to visit as the highly anticipated Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away nighttime parade will be debuting on 20th July, just days before you arrive. This looks absolutely amazing and is the thing that I'm most looking forward to seeing when my family visit, this summer.

Going back to your question, it sounds as though you booked the Free Dining and Drinks offer for travel in 2025 which was available to book, here in the UK, from 18 April - 7 November 2024.

As part of this promotion, if you selected to stay at a Value Resort Hotel, you would receive 1 x free Quick-Service Meal (including 1 x free Non-Alcoholic/Alcoholic Drink per Meal) per person, per night of your stay.

I, myself, took advantage of this Special Offer and can tell you that when I log into my own My Disney Experience App, under details, in the Hotel Reservations section, it states "DR Hotel Pkg with Quick Meal DP".

As your reservation details say exactly the same thing, I think it's safe to say that you will receive 1 x free Quick-Service Meal (including 1 x free Non-Alcoholic/Alcoholic Drink per Meal) per person, per night of your stay, as outlined above.

This is different to the Quick-Service Dining Plan which includes 2 x Quick-Service Meals, 1 x Non-Alcoholic/Alcoholic Drink per Meal, 1 x selected Snack or Drink for each night of your stay plus, a Resort-Refillable Mug.

As I am not able to access your reservation, I would recommend contacting the Company who you made your existing booking with, for confirmation of exactly what is included as part of your booking. Their contact details should be located on your booking confirmation.

If you booked directly with The Walt Disney Travel Company, via the UK version of the Walt Disney World website, you can contact their Disney Experts on freephone on 0800 169 0730. They are available 7 days a week at the following times:-

    Monday - Friday 9am-8pm
    Saturday 9am-7pm
    Sunday 10am-6pm

If, as I suspect, you have 1 x free Quick-Service Meal (including 1 x free Non-Alcoholic/Alcoholic Drink per Meal) included on your booking, per person, per night of your stay, they will be able to confirm what the cost would be to upgrade this to the Quick-Service Dining Plan for your travel party.

You might have to act fairly quickly though, as when I have enquired about this before, I have been told that upgrades must be made at least one week prior to your arrival date.

Top Tip - Be sure to take advantage of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering when redeeming your Quick-Service meals during your stay. This is so super easy to use and means you can spend less time waiting in line for food during your visit - what's not to like?

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
