Hello, We have a holiday booked for Sept, it will be 4 adults and an 18 months old. I have been looking at making some restaurant reservations but am unsure whether I need to book for 4 or 5? Also confused about it saying adult and child tb meals not adult

    Hi Eleanor!

Your dining reservations are based on your dining party size, so you'll be booking for a total of 5 guests in your party.  They base this off of space available, and so that you'll have enough room to comfortably dine.  Make sure that you request a high-chair as well for your little one.

As for your next question, I hope I'm answering it correctly.  If not, please come back and let me know.  Most restaurants will have an adult and child menu.  If you're using the Disney Disney Plan, you'll use dining entitlements to pay for your meals.  Because your little one is under 3, you won't purchase a Dining Plan for them.  They could either share from your plate, or dine free at buffet style or all-you-care-to-eat dining locations.  You also always have the option to pay out of pocket for a kids meal for them as well.

    Have a magical vacation!
