We are going on holiday in August next year and have a quick service dining plan. If there is no vegetarian kids meal on the menu would it be possible for my son to use his credit for an adult vegetarian meal please?

    Greetings, Jessica!

Welcome to planDisney! I hope you're having a wonderful time planning your next Walt Disney World Resort holiday. I never mind how long my countdown is as long as I have a magical vacation on the calendar to look forward to. It will be here before you know it.

I am happy to hear you will be using the 2025 Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan during your visit. I think it makes meal planning a bit simpler not having to worry about a budget during your stay. With the quick-service plan, each UK Guest (over the age of 3) receives the following:

    • 2 Quick-Service meals
    • 1 non-alcoholic/alcoholic drink per meal‡
    • 1 selected snack or drink
    • Resort-refillable mug
Guests aged 10 and older will receive adult meals, while Guests 9 and younger will receive child meals and must order from the children's menu where available. While your son won't be able to redeem his kid's meal for an adult meal, I assure you, that the Disney Cast Members will work with you to accommodate your son's Special Dietary Request. Disney prides itself on the hundreds of plant-based options available throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Did you know that favorites such as the Mickey-Shaped Pretzel and the Pineapple DOLE Whip® are both plant-based snacks? Even the "buttered" popcorn on Main Street, U.S.A. is plant-based!

For your specific dietary requirement, you can discuss with a Cast Member upon arrival at the participating Quick-Service location to see what options are available for your son or request to speak with a chef or manager. (While restaurants will make every effort to accommodate dietary requests, they cannot guarantee that they will be able to meet all requests.)

Thank you again for your question, Jessica. If there is anything else I am able to assist you with, including some of my favorite plant-based recommendations, please let me know. Happy planning!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
