are there holds on choosing new dates within 7 days using Magic key? For reference, i have a Magic key reservation for March 27. But need to change to April 1 to accommodate our friends that have already changed their reservation.

Hey there, hi there, Prawit! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question for us!

I love to see that you are a Magic Key holder. I am too! I am happy to share that there is no such thing as holds on choosing theme park ticket reservations or modifying them as a Magic Key holder. As long as there is availability for the park you want to make a reservation for and you have not maxed out on how many reservations your pass type can hold at one time, you are good to go! Magic Key holders can modify or cancel theme park ticket reservations up until 11:59 p.m. PST on the day before the reserved date. If you do not cancel your reservation in time and do not show up for your reservation, you will receive a no-show.

Since your friends' plans changed, which means you now need to change your plans, just head to the "Future Plans" section in the Disneyland app. To do this, you will tap on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the app and then scroll to "Future Plans". There you will see the current reservations you have and you will just tap on the reservation you want to modify and it should take you to the page where you can access your reservations and modify or cancel them.

Prawit, I hope you were able to modify your reservation for your park day. If you have any other questions about your Magic Key or upcoming park plans, you know where to find us!
