Welcome, Joannie!
We're happy you stopped by with your question. I can see that you plan to be in the parks TODAY, so let's get all your Disneyland ducks in a row to make for a smooth arrival to the Happiest Place on Earth.
The good news is that you can share tickets with all of the Guests in your party. This is easily done in the Disneyland app, so I would recommend that everyone has it downloaded and is logged in to their individual accounts. Personally, I think this is an easier task once everyone is together in person, as it will involve a quick tap, and the tickets will magically appear in another account. Here's a step-by-step process to get those tickets linked:
- The first step is to head into the app and have everyone tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, selecting the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the next screen.
- You will stay here so you can scroll to each individual ticket. Your friends will tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner to "Link Tickets and Passes".
- If you are together, have them toggle to "Camera" along the top and "Open Camera". They can easily scan the barcode for their ticket from your phone, and it will now show up in their account. If you are organizing ahead of being together, simply share their ticket ID number underneath the barcode of their ticket and have them select "Type ID" to manually enter it.
- Now, the members of your group will be able to enter and exit the parks on their own! If your group has purchased a Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, I recommend that they link all the tickets to their individual accounts. This would just require repeating step 3 until all the tickets are scanned by each Guest. This allows anyone in the group to make Lightning Lane selections for everyone or even just a few if smaller groups want to split off for a certain experience. Essentially, it gives everyone more freedom to move through their park day.
If you have included Lightning Lane Multi Pass to your day, don't forget that it includes unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day, so you can keep all those unforgettable memories. Additionally, you will unlock access to the Disney PhotoPass Lenses, which are so much fun! If you go back to the three-line icon in the app and scroll down, you will see "PhotoPass Lenses". My family loves using these while we are in the queue waiting for our favorite attractions. It offers fun filters, backdrops, and animations to add some character to your photos and videos! The best part is that some are specific to certain areas of the parks, so you will find new ones to try throughout your day!
Joannie, I hope this has been helpful and that you are successfully scanning into the Main Entrance Gates in just a few hours. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
