Hi Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your trip to Walt Disney World is just around the corner, which is so exciting, and experiencing it through the eyes of your little one really is a whole new level of magic! When we visit, we often spend a few days at the Disney Water Parks, and
Typhoon Lagoon holds a special place in our hearts as we went there on our wedding day!
I have two little thrill-seeking toddlers who have both been on
Gang Plank Falls and
Miss Adventure Falls. Whilst there is no height requirement, children must be able to sit independently in their own seat and hold the handles with both hands for the duration of the attraction. Every child is different, but my boys managed it at around the 2 year mark, and they absolutely loved it! When you are choosing your spot for the day, I recommend setting up near
Ketchakiddee Creek. It is designed for little ones under 122cm and is packed with smaller attractions, including slides just for them.
One of the great things about Walt Disney World is that children under the age of 3 do not need a park ticket, and there is so much for them to enjoy. When mine were around 16 months old, their faces lit up on attractions like “it’s a small world”, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which is still their favourite now!
I hope this has answered your question today, Jessica! As you continue to finalise your plans, if you have any other questions, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
See ya real soon!
Matt
