Can I hold Individual Lightning Lane reservations at multiple parks at the same time? E.g., I’m planning to park hop from HS to Epcot and want to buy Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure first thing in the morning.

    Hello Melanie,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Our family is traveling to Walt Disney World soon, and we have the exact same plan, Hollywood Studios in the morning and hopping to EPCOT in the evening. We're looking to spend less time waiting in line for the same attractions - great minds think alike!

If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can begin making your Individual Lightning Lane purchases at 7:00 a.m., and yes, you can make them for both Rise of the Resistance and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. When you go to make Individual Lightning Lane selections, you are given a window of return times, very much like the old FastPass reservation system. If you choose to purchase an attraction that is not in the park where you have reservations (your starting park), you will only be shown options that are 2:00 p.m. or later. When selecting your second attraction in a different park, don't forget to take into consideration travel time to get from one park to another.

Also, at 7:00 a.m. if you have purchased Genie+, you can book your first selection for that as well. So, you could potentially have Lightning Lane passes for three attractions before you even leave your resort.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
