Hi Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
You have come to the perfect place to get answers to all things
Disney Genie+! With the introduction of this new service to the parks last year, there are still many Guests that have yet to experience it just yet. Along with
Individual Lightning Lane entrances to select attractions, you will have plenty of ways to maximize your day at the parks!
Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane attractions operate independently of each other. To answer your question, you can absolutely hold a reservation for each one for similar arrival windows. For Genie+, you can log on to your
My Disney Experience App starting at 7 AM the day of your park visit and make your first selection based on the next available time slot. For example, let's say you make a reservation for
Splash Mountain with the next available being from 10:30-11:30 AM. This will be your only option to choose from unless you decide to wait for the time slot to change. If you are staying in a Disney Resorts Hotel or other select hotels, you can purchase your first Individual Lightning Lane reservation at 7 AM as well. Let's say you select
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for an arrival window between 10:45-11:45 AM. Each of these time slots overlap, but as long as you time it correctly, you'll be able to ride each attraction without having to wait in line.
Once you have ridden your first Disney Genie+ attraction, you'll be able to make another selection at this time. You can continue to do so throughout the entire day and try to fit in as many as you can. For Individual Lightning Lanes, you are only allowed to select two attractions per day. These attractions are limited at each park, so unless you plan to park hop to other locations throughout the day, you won't have many options to surpass this total anyway.
Rebecca, I hope you are planning the ultimate Walt Disney World holiday! Bookings into 2023 have opened up to Guests from the UK and Ireland. Now is the best time to start planning your next stay and give you plenty of time to start budgeting appropriately.
