How much of a hold do Disney hotels place on your method of payment? We check in at the POFQ next Wednesday at $190 a night. We already paid for one night up front. Just curious so I can plan ahead.

    Hi there, Sarah!

Beyond your pre-payment of one night, there should be no further charges on your card in advance of your vacation.

You're welcome to add a hold on your method of payment when you check in; that will allow you flexibility with your method of payment for incidentals. This can be arranged at the front desk.

If you would like to add charging privileges to your Disney resort room key, the standard initial hold for the moderate resorts - like Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter - is $1000.

But you could also opt to increase or decrease the limit. You might also opt to decline room charging privileges.

Just let the Cast Member know your preference when you check in.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
