Hello Moms, In the H2O parks if you don't have swimwear are you allowed to wear shorts/shirts as long as there are NO metal buttons, zippers, buckles, etc ? A H2O park near us allows this, but were not sure if this is OK with Disney. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Michael,

The official policy for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon states:
    • Proper dress is required.
    • Swim attire with rivets, buckles or exposed metal is not permitted on the water attractions.
    • Wetsuits are not permitted on body slides.
    • One-piece swimsuits are recommended on the more thrilling waterslides, like the Summit Plummet attraction.
    • Wearing water shoes is a good idea when visiting Disney Water Parks; the ground can get hot and so will your feet!

On my last visit to the water parks, I took pictures of the signs and just reviewed them. The only attire restrictions on the water slides was against rivets, buckles and exposed metal. Many guests wear shirts due to protection of sunburn, etc.

Shorts and shirts are OK! Have a fun time!!
